Jillian NicoleCalifornia has and will always be home to me. I am excited to share with you all some photos I took while road tripping from San Diego to Santa Cruz. What’s interesting about these photos is that I took them all on my Pentax K1000 (my film camera).
I live in San Diego, and while the water is very nice here, I didn’t realize how much bluer it could get in other places. Our first stop was Laguna Beach and the water was extremely clear—I felt like I was in Hawaii.
We continued heading up the coast and drove along Big Sur, California, with some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen.
We were also able to see elephant seals somewhere on the coast. The sounds that these creatures make are astonishing—I have never heard anything like it before.
